Weekend

Last night we spent most of the evening making the cameo part of the cameo necklaces. These will be an ongoing project all weekend. I really want to get most of them done by next week so I don't have to worry about it for the next show. We are also experimenting with new sizes, settings and cabochon types. I have some really pretty porcelain cameos I will be working into lockets and a few other things. These will be more OOAK pieces. We have some really lovely beads and chains we will be working into those.

Tonight I am going out with a friend and tomorrow Johnnie and i are going to the zoo for reference photos and some fun. We both need a little bit of a break. I have been too swamped for new art though this weekend I want my dragon sculpture painted so I can get him up for sale. He needs a home!

Other then that things are moving along. We are firming up our figurine ship date with China and all that good stuff. We are really excited at what is ahead for the company. Candles should be in NEXT week, there was a little delay.

The cherry blossoms are in bloom here and their petals are falling down like perfumed snow. Our tree in the front yard is a little behind the others but we don't mind. It will still have flowers long after the others have fallen. We are looking into fencing off our property and then I can get to gardening. I want all sorts of roses and flowers in the back.

Anyway I better get back to it.
