More!
We are still digging out of our community. No state issued plow has been through though the community's bob cat has cleared some of it. There is still at least 10 inches of packed snow and ice on the road making it impossible for me to get out. We are getting an estimated 6-16 MORE inches of snow tomorrow and then an undisclosed amount on Saturday. Its NUTS. If I can I am going to TRY and get to the post office TOMORROW before more of the crazy starts again. PLEASE get your Valentine's Day orders ASAP.
Johnnie is working from home today because we are just kinda stuck. I don't see him much. Our offices are on opposite sides of the house. His is in our furnished basement in a spare bedroom and mine is on the 3rd floor. We cross paths in the kitchen from time to time and I poke my head in when I change over the laundry. It is kinda neat having him here.
Today I am going to be working on another acrylic piece, title yet to be determined. Sometime today Johnnie is going to try and get a better photo of Summoning Magic for prints and I am starting to print for Megacon next month. Lots and lots to do this week that is for sure. I am thinking my helpers will be snowed in this week so I am on my own. That is OK I have been doing it this long by myself.
My poor dog slipped and fell on a walk yesterday and busted his chin on some ice! He was bleeding a little, I felt so bad. It was his first boo boo EVER! In 7 years! I guess that is a pretty good track record.
Oh there is Johnnie coming to take my painting! Better go in case he needs help. Have a great day everyone!

The end is neigh..
The snow has started. They are saying 30 inches but a friend of mine in the know said they aren't telling the public exactly how much we are REALLY getting because it would cause a panic. Its true, people freak out about a few flurries when you start talking about 3 or more feet all hell breaks loose.
Johnnie is already home and working from the living room. We least he can have a parking spot this way. Our neighbors are horrible and usually take all of them up and then NEVER dig themselves out. I always kinda hope they move away..or we do.
I have already resigned myself to the fact that I am not going anywhere for a while. That is just as well I am working on a new painting that should be done today. I like it, its different but I think you can still tell it is "me" we will see. I have a lot of traditional paintings planned for my upcoming shows. I have a bay in the art show at Imagicon and I want at least one full panel to be all new original art. I already measured it and that is 8 new paintings by may. No big deal...
Got all of your orders out for today so they are on the way. I am not sure when I am going to be able to get out again so we will play next week by ear. I have a sports car and they really suck in the snow. I love cars. I really want a classic car in the future. Either a vintage mustang, a 72 Chevy Nova or that sweet sweet Impala on Supernatural. I swear I drool over the car more then Dean Winchester ;)

The snowpocalypse is coming
Well the weather man has said we are about to be buried in another blizzard, a couple feet of snow and I am hustling to get my butt out the door with orders. This may be the last time I will be able to ship out until Monday or Tuesday depending on how fast the plows get everything clear. You have about a half hour 12:30 EST to get an order in for it to ship out today. We are almost OUT of Conversation Wyrm cards and will not get more in before Valentines Day. We have two left so grab them while you can.
I am painting again. A traditional piece, acrylic though I am wondering if I like it very much. I am not very enamored with my art lately. I'm restless and just not pleased with myself. I guess I never am really so I am not sure why that is coming as a surprise. I will keep moving along though. I have a lot to do before our shows next month.
I have been listening to a lot of Dark Cabaret music which I LOVE! I got an ITUNES card for Christmas and I just finally spent it on a few things. I want to get a few more albums but I always limit my music habit cause I think we all know those .99 songs add up quickly!
I am trying to also get a good deal on the Urban Decay Alice pallet on EBAY. I dunno the cheap ass in me doesn't want to pay the 52.00 for it. There is some weird principal to it or something that I can't really rationalize. Oh well.
Anyway I better post this and pack some orders.

Update
We got some more snow last night! I guess the lil groundhog was right again. I think they are predicting another blizzard for the weekend. If that is the case PLEASE get your Valentine's day orders in!! Last time when we got two feet of snow it took FOREVER for us to get plowed out and while the post office is close in terms of driving it is MILES away and I am not walking there in the snow.
I have been working out really hard this week. I am hoping it pays off in the long run. I like it. I need it to work out stress and since my occupation dictates I spend most of my time on my ass I think it will combat me turning into a much larger version of myself.
I have two employees coming on to help me out once a week. They are my in laws and I am glad they are willing to help. I don't trust strangers in my home or with my merchandise so this is a perfect solution. Those of you who were at Faeriecon 2009 on Friday met my FIL. His name is Johnnie as well. I don't know how many shows they will really do. They are taxing.
I am working on a few traditional paintings. I sketched out a new one before I hit my elliptical machine this afternoon. I spent most of the weekend gessoing panels and I just finished yesterday. It took so long because usually I do it in the summer outside and I can do dozens at a time and it dries really fast. Not that case with snow on the ground still.
This week Mystic Memories is releasing the perfume oil for My Furry Valentine!! I LOVE it, I think it is one of my new favorites. I'll keep you posted as to when you can buy it.
We are working on a ton of new stuff here so stay tuned. And stay warm!!
