If you could have been the author of any book, what would it have been?
Twilight haha just kidding!! Though I would have made Bella less of a selfish B and could have retired 6 times over... For real... Lord of the Rings, though it couldn't have possibly have been done better.

When did you first know you wanted to be an artist? And when did you first do something about it? (i.e., when did you first start seriously establishing yourself as an artist.)
I can't seem to pinpoint when I "knew" I wanted to be an artist. I have been artistic all my life. Art has always been a part of my life but I have done a lot of things. I was a musician. I loved being a musician but touring was hard and we didn't have access to things like facebook, itunes and myspace like we do now. You had to go out and play. I chose art is a "more stable" environment with "less drama" I realize now that was complete folly. Anyone in the biz knows that things can get crazy. In fact in retrospect music was the more stable way to go. I started painting 6 years ago. I quit my job 5 years ago and went full time. I had licensing in the first year. Things just escalated from there. It takes a lot of hard work. I haven't been on a vacation in 5 years. I worked on my honeymoon. There is a perception that this is easy, effortless and things fell into my lap. Nothing could be further from the truth. I just went after what I wanted, dug in and didn't quit.
